Theres alot of power in the 400EX that you can
take advantage of.The '00 models only give you
60% to 70% throttle so you have 40% to 30% left.
The 400EX comes jetted lean so if you fix that you
get even more power.So a stock 400EX has alot more power then it seems.

Hey 250R killer, if they are jetted lean then whats the fix, raise the needle or a bigger jet?

 

I put a K&N power kit in my 2000 400EX, which not only gives you a K&N filter but rejets it as well, makes for quite a difference.
