Default Has anyone tried the Swingarm extensions by A&R or JTM?

Hey all,
I am considering putting either the 2in swingarm extension by A&R or the 4 1/2 by JTM on my machine. Has anyone tried them? What was your expierience with them? Waste of time or good deal? Thank you, Frank.

Thruth- I just installed a JTM 2 weeks ago. It was well worth the 250 dollars. Crafty put one on after he saw mine. Blue leader has a fab shop that will lenghten your stock swingarm for about the same money. It is excelent work. I went the JTM route in case i want to take it off. If you go the new swing arm route the Tucker looks great.

I'll also add to this, I have the JTM 4.5" for the Raptor. EXCELLENT. very well made and looks great. Versatile, quick to change if I want to woods ride and extremely stable when on the gas. What quad are you putting this on?

Guys....the JTM and A & R (does A & R have a web site or a place where I can see this product?) sounds good....but what about a skid plate? Are their provisions for a rear skid?

On mine I dont believe there was any provision for a skid plate but if riding dunes you probably wont need it. For woods riding I'll take it off, it really doesnt take that long if you have air tools

From what I gathered today, JTM is in the makes for the skidplate and my buddie just made the stock raptor skid plate fit just perfect on his JTM. I will take him my WB and see what he can do to make it fit. The JTM looks pretty well made!!

Did he fabricate some extensions in front and re-drill holes in the rear of his skid?

From what he says, the oem skid plate bends and so he re drilled holes in the skid plate itself. If you want, I can probably get a pic of it and send it to you.
