Let us know what you think of it after you have some seat time on it. And don't forget to get some pics of it. If you have any question I'll try to answer them.

Daniel @ Grove City Motorsports in Pa put a '94 Kx250 rear shock on his to increase the rear shock travel. He said it made a big difference. The other thing he said you could do it put the Ohlins shock off a GasGas dirtbike on it. The only difference between the quad and bike shock is the shaft length so replacing the shaft is a 3rd option. I'm going to get with Ohlins/Mx Tech at the next GNCC and see what kind of price it would be to change out the shaft and go to a dual rated set-up. I'll let you know on the details.

that'll be really cool if the guys at MXtech come up with a long travel kit for it at a reasonable price.... i'm curious what you find out... even though i probly won't do anything like that for a while.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's a cheap thing to do. I figured since I need a softer rated spring on it and also wanting to go to a dual spring set-up might as well add more travel while he has it apart, but that depends on the price. I'll let you know as soon as I get a qoute.
