Thumb or Twist
#1
I let my father-in-law ride my new (slightly used) Raptor this weekend. He tried to climb a 60° hill and tumbled it over. He was ok but my Rap suffered some stress marks in the plastic and a broken throttle. So since I still kinda like the good ol twist em ups, I thought I might change over. What do you guys think?

If you get the twist throttle it will be harder to do wheelies and if you go to flip over you might twist on accident and flip it harder... Just my $.02!! That was the biggest waste of money I ever spent...

I think twist would be good for desert or sand, and maybe MX, but it would be bad for any type of woods riding. Especially with a big 4-stroke and all that torque. A little extra twist at the wrong time and say hello to Mr. Tree! JMO

My LT 250 had a twist throttle when I got it, and I rode it that way for about 8 years. Went thru the whole bike a couple years ago and put the thumb back on it, and it's much better to ride---I have more control. Buddat's juzme.
