Break in isnt too tough, just be pacient with it. Make sure to let it just idle and warm up, no revving. Then ride it and slowly go through all the gears. Then go through them a bit more aggresivly. Ride for about 5-10 min doing this, and let it cool down. Come back later and do it again. You can ride it around jsut be easy on it. No revving it way up in neutral. Dont be afraid to hit high RPM's in gear though. If you go to easy the piston wont get worn in enough before the tecture on the inside of the cylindar is gone.
Im not entirely sure on new bikes but i know with a new bore and piston the cylindar is honed. This acts like very fine sand paper on the piston. It gets rid of all the sharp edges on the rings and piston. After break in the roughness is gone in the cylindar and the piston isnt going to change. You need Torque against the piston thought for it to work, so jsut revving it up is a bad thing with a new motor. Get on it and get the revs up while you go through gears.
Its also important to get that first oil change soon after break in. Once you get through a couple tanks, change the oil and filter.
Good luck

According to this guy, taking it easy on it is the worst thing you can do to it.
