Default Yoshi tec kit?

When I install the TEC quiet kit using the smallest one will I have to re-jet? I am using the Dyno Jet kit, with the lid on. Nobody likes the noise where I ride.

Yoshi says you do not have to. They claim that the power decrease is so minimal that the only thing that really changes is the noise. There is only one way to find out though...

When I switch between TEC sizes I usually have to fine tune the idle mixture screws a bit. I have never really used the smallest TEC before because it sounds worse than the stock exhaust. But I imagine, irregardless of what Yoshimura tells you, that you will probably be looking at going down 1 main jet size when going from wide open to the smallest TEC. There is just so much more restriction there that I don't think it could breathe nearly as well on the top end. It is just common sense. And what Yoshimura tells people about not losing any power is just marketing hype.
