I'm pretty new to atving, and i dont have a lot of money to spend. well, anyway My friend is selling his '94 300ex, and i was wondering if $1700 is a good price. The only thing it needs is rear axle bearings, otherwise everything is ok. So i was wondering is this a good deal?

 

Yes. It is a good deal if it looks good and if the hours are low, or how hard it has been ran, Otherwise the bearing will cost about 40 bucks for a bearing and a seal. and you can put them in yourself

 

Right off hand it sounds like a good deal, but it depends on the region you are in. Check around for what others are wanting for their 300ex's, but if this is a true friend of yours, you should be able to feel confident your not getting a lemon. bearings are not that big of deal, a normal wearing item.

 

It is a great deal but if the guy has riddin it hard when the baering where bad be ready to spend money to get it fixed!!!
but other than that it is a honda !!
