Default t4 slip on for a raptor. Installation question???

i bought a t4 pro circuit for my raptor and i was wondering if anyone else has put one on. the problem im having is what to do with the steel wool type gasket that goes bettween the header and the slip on. for me it was to small to fit on the t4 slip on. i had to force it over the slip on and stock it goes under the slip on. everyhting looks tight and looks solid but i just want to make sure it cool to do so.

It sounds like it doesn't use a gasket there.
Is there a clamp?
Do the pipes fit together tightly?

it did not come with a clamp. i used the one off the stock pipe but it was too big so i had to use the bushing and the stock clamp. it works fine i just dont know if later on down the road it will cause a problem.

I ripped all the "gasket" material off of the stockie and the T-4 fits snug right on to the header!!! Hence the name..."slip-on"...

You have to take the gasket off. If you are careful, you can reuse it with the stocker.
