love the smell of the 2-stroke in the morning.

I have seen a bunch of posts ended with that comment. "LOVE THE SMELL OF THE 2-STROKE IN THE MORNING", and if i remember right, in several of the atv forums. I have thought about making a comment about that comment. After saturday, I will
comment. I was riding saturday with my cousin on his 1993 polaris 250 4x4 non named atv. It happens to be a 2 stroke. Every time I let my self get behind him, my only thought was, "IT STINKS", then
I would speed up to get in front of him. The only reason was to get away from the stink!!! Well, that was my comment: "IT STINKS" !!
My new comment, I love to smell nothing from the 4-stroke in the morning, noon, and night!
Not to mention, not going home reicking the gasoline smell all over you!

Lots of wifes feel like rancheres wife does. I'm using the polaris synthetic oil.
Jamie, The only time i smell my atv is when I un-cork my gas cap to put more gas in. Even my 4 horse evinrude boat motor stinks. Sorry pal, I can do with out that perfume!! Haha!

Yeah, I guess the worst thing about it is that 2 strokes like my RCR-piped 400 are so much faster than what you ride,... you have no choice but to follow and smell. Life sucks and it's so unfair, huh. No doubt you would also hate the ungodly racket of my pipe as well as the filthy rooster tail of dirt that would rain all over you if you were unlucky/stupid enough to ride behind me. Have fun changing your oil! HEHE
When I smell 2-Stroke I think Victory, you only smell defeat!

Actually, I prefer the smell of nitromethanol in the morning.... after you work on dragsters and funny cars w/ 5000 Horse Power ( now they're in the 6000 HP range ) it's tough to go back. Although I do rather like the smell of Polaris Gold and good 110+ octane racing gas.

We appear to be running out of subject material.

some very cute responses here. I am impressed with the dye hard 2-strokers. Because of a couple of strong responses, I think I offended a few. That was not my intention. It was just something I needed to get off my chest.
