Rookie question

Default Rookie question

When I sink my Rancher es 4x4 in the creek what do I need to check so I don't schrew it up. I know you have to check the oil to see if their is any water in the oil that is about as far as I know what to do. What else do I need to check.

Default Rookie question

Pull the spark plug and spin the engine over to make sure no water is in the cylinder..Drain the fuel bowl on the carb..Drain the air box..Check your front and rear differential's..Check brakes front and rear..That should cover bout everything!If you plan on riding deep water you may wanna snorkel the air box and route all vent lines to the top.This almost a sure way to avoid having to do all of this everytime you go in deep water,but there is a slight chance of still getting some water in..
