Yep, what should have been in 86! I just bought a 1986 Yamaha Tri-Z that has been modified to hold a Banshee motor! So after my trip home Im going to pull the motor out of my Banshee and install it in the Tri-Z frame. My main intention is to run the 300 foot sand drags with it, or any groomed course. (Trailer Park Nats???)

Not sure this is a good idea, but hey, WTF...

Thats my Banshee with new Fullbore Plastic.

Thanks Michael AZ for the scans and kick **** CD!

Have you rode a 3-wheeler before? If not, you are gonna learn some serious body english. I had an 85 T-3 once upon a time.
The shee looks kickin and the Tri-Z looks too have good potential.
Side note: Why not run a skid plate in the sand too avoid excessive rear brake and chain / sprocket wear?

Thanks for the compliments guys.

After I get my motor in and what not, if things look like they are going to work out(which at this point I dont see why it wouldnt) i will get a +12 extended swingarm. That is the main intention of this bike is a hill shooter/drag racer. I dont anticipate much "riding" , just holding on!!!

As far as a skid plate. Well where Im from, Wyoming, the nearest "dunes" were in Colorado. the best part of those dunes was shooting out of the creek and climbing hills, but wet sand makes runts which the skid plate would high center on. Now that I ride out west mostly in the sand, we dont need a skid plate there either..
