MBRP headpipe question
#1
i acctually have two questions
1. i am interested in the MBRP headpipe. I currently have a HMF slip-on, TM-45 carb, K&N in box, RWR ported intake, and RWR cdi. Is it worth the money to buy it, and is it from the head to the slip on, a single pipe, or is it two individual ones like RWR's? Also would i have to re-jet?(the white insulator in the plug is cardboard brown now)
2. How do u know if your clutch is slipping? It seems that when i rip up a steep hill it doesnt pull as hard.

I think you already have a great pipe with the HMF. Spending money on the MBRP won't give you any more gains in power over what you now have. If it did...and Im not saying it will...it would be very slight. With that said. MBRP does make a nice head pipe. So if your thinking about it as an investment in shinny looks...then thats another matter. I've read on these forums a number of times that the DS head pipe is plenty big enough in the stock form. Untill you start to really mod the DS would you need to consider a larger head pipe.

is it worth the money, im not sure, i have the complete exhaust form mbrp but havnt been able to run with it, doing some other stuff to the quad, i wouldnt have a good before and after, it has two individual pipes coming out of the head and comes into a y pipe that joins the two to flow into the slip on pipe, so there are 3 pieces to it, i would think that you would have to rejet a little, cause your allowing more air flow, im running methanol and had to rejet a little, and what eagle said if you dont have any motor mods or not planning on doing them later on, the stock pipe seems to do just fine
