SHould i get a blaster?and what is the top stock speed on on?

I am 14 and about 6'0 200 pounds.(big kid i know). I was woundering if i should buy a blaster or save my money and buy somthign elts. I know you can modifie them to go REAL fast like 70, but how much will that cost?

you might be a little big for one go and sit on it and see what you think. stock is 55 60 is easily attainable with gearing changes and some mods. and 70 is possible with maby a 240kit and geared up and bigger tires but that will cost you lots of money. by your size you might want to save up for something a little bit bigger. maby get a used something. however if you have limited experience a blaster is an excellent machine to learn on and you could get hurt on a bigger machine. see if you can test ride it that would help you. good luck

um just so you know the 240 boring isn't going to get you the 35 40 hp. it actually only adds like one hp. when you get the 35 40 hp is out of doing the rest to bring out the full potential of the 240 kit such as carbs, porting and so on. the ct full 240 kit is over a 1,000, however they do have some smaller versions for less money. hope that helps you a bit

All right, i am simualr in size as you, and i own a warrior and a blaster... If you read my signiture you can see that the blaster is "for sale". This is becasue it is to small for me. Yes, i can ride it, jump, race, power slide,... however, i feel much safter and more comfotable on my warrior. The blaster has plenty of power and speed, but you will out grow it before too long. I would suggest a warrior... But if you want speed look into stock used banshees. they sell dirt cheap. This is my opionion, but you could still get the blaster and stick about the cost of the quad into in mods, and get it to go 70.. you choose.
