Does anyone know if the Warn 3.0ci winch will work (and fit!) with the Bombardier Outlander Factory Winch adapter? All the forum posts of winch owners are the 2.5ci.

The reason I'm even considering the 3.0ci is because it comes with the handheld remote switch because I don't want to permanently mount the switch on the handlebars and it has a lifetime warranty on it vs 1 year on the 2.5ci. I think the overall cost difference is minor once I purchase the handheld remote accessory.

I've checked the mounting bolt pattern at Warn's site, and they are the same. The dimensions are pretty close but the drum offset is different. I was wondering if the alignment of the drum of the 3.0 winch will work nicely on the Outlander.
