I bought a tach for my TBx 500. I believe you said you had one, correct? WHere is the spark plug wire located and where did you mount the tach? I bought a "sendec tach/hour meter. Don't want to "screw" anything up. ThANks!

 

the sparkplug is on the left side. if you take off the side panal you can see it going into the head just follow the instructions and it will work good.as for mounting the tac i put it just under the gear display on the handlebars thers a space behind where the key gos in i just screwed it into the plastic just dont use to long of screws.
