Just curious if any of you have taken the safety course sponsored by AC. They offer $100 to whoever buys a new AC and takes the course. Figured that for $100 I could go and listen to a safety instructor preach for a few hours. We actually got $200, as Dad attended as well. Overall, it really wasn't that bad. There were 3 of us in the class all together, plus the instructor. He was pretty cool, as it was on a saturday morning, and he wanted to go fishing, so he gave us the "short" 2 hour version. Basically we just did a lot of driving around cones, then took a tour of a special riding area, with obstacle course. Also had to watch a 15 minute video. All hands on, and would be a very good course for kids, or even beginner riders. Shows the proper way for riding hills, side hills, J-turns, U-turns, breaking and powering through turns.
Overall, not a bad way to earn $100 while riding your AC. What do you all think? Mike |
I also took the course. They asked if anyone else in the family would like to attend so I took my wife. We had a great time and she is much more comfortable riding now.
Like you said, how often does someone pay you to ride your atv. BTW - Yamaha only pays $75.00 and I'm still waiting on the check (1 1/2 months) |
My wife & I took the safety course. She learned a few things.
You guys get money, Oh well, Honda didn't give us a dime. A 100 for 3-4 hours of time not bad. Plus you will get to meet riders in your area. This could mean new riding partners & places. |
Yeah, I took the course too. I figured it'd be an easy hundred bucks. Turkey hunt in the morning and get paid to ride in the afternoon!
