Engine Brake
I need some help again My plug that controls the speedometer got disengaged during a ride. I'm waiting on the part to come in and the dealer told me it's ok to ride. Now for the problem, my engine brake isn't working. When I go down a hill in gear it's like being in nuetral. Does anyone know if the two are connected? The dealer says he's 95% sure it's not.

Engine Brake
No there not connected, the engine braking is purely mechanical. Does the problem exist in high? Try low range, I have noticed that on mine it works allot better in low range. I think that the secondary clutch spring isn't putting enough pressure on the clutch to hold it in a lower ratio. I want to put an aftermarket spring in or do the tranny trick. tranny trick

Engine Brake
yes your engine braking is connected to tour speed sensor engine braking engages at 3 mph if the sensor is unhook the computer cannot know the speed to engage the soleniod on the top of the belt cover on a/c 650 and you do not have full power with out the sensor 70 % power
