I don't like the engine braking on the polaris. AC has excellent engine braking.
Just my 2 pennies worth

i am a arctic cat rider so i recommend it. even though i haven't pushed much snow this year in minnesota. but i was out riding on a muddy trail and 6 guys with 700 and one 800 polaris were standing on the edge of a big mud hole and i came up with mine.... and they said to me "YOU NOT PLANING ON GOING IN THERE WITH YOUR LITTLE 650 ARE YOU" and i laughed at them and said "i will at least try it not just park next to it"; and they told me i would never make it. well i tryied it and the muddy water came up to the handlebars and they laughed and my wheeler shut off on its own. they said have fun with that. so i locked the diff four wheel drive and hit the ignition and fired up and i gave her full throttle all the way threw it. then the guy wit a 700 tried it and couldn't make it. cause of the belt getting wet and slipping. i got pictures to laugh at. good luck with your choice
