Mikuni carb - where's the model number?
 

I have a 2001 Artic Cat 250 with the Mikuni carb and I can't find any numbers on this thing. Does anyone know what the model number is on this carburetor? I think it's a 38mm but I could be wrong, I called the dealer and they said they didn't know which is a normal response from them. Thanks for all the help.

Well, it wasn't all that hard. My first quad and now the wife's ride is a 2001 AC 250 2X4. I have the 2001 Service Manual and I just looked in there.

Ha ha, thanks! I need to get one for this thing, these vacuum lines have still got me baffled. The dealer says one goes to the fuel tank and one goes to the airbox but I don't see any possible place a vacuum line could hook too. The vent tube that exits the top of the fuel tank just hangs down in the steering column correct? Without these hooked up my diaphram won't work in the carburetor.

Did you ever figure out how it all went together? i have a 1999? AC with the same carb and I can't figure it out either. Got it to putter but fuel was pouring out the exhaust all over.
