I can tell you I won't be standing in line for a 950. I may have gone for a 750, but right now I have no real interest in a 950.

The only time axles start popping is in mud that is ridiculously thick. There is no problem with the axles and joints, only under extreme stress do they break. There's a reason that they don't put 29" mud tires on from the factory, they know it can generate too much stress. Rarely(yes catterman, I remember ) do axles break with stock tires.

I am glad arctic cat has started making their own motors. Then they can become more independent from suzuki, not that anything is wrong with suzuki. I just think it is time for AC to do it. Personally, if they made the 700H1 from the same designs of the 650H1, that would be a great motor. I would think it would become their number one selling big bore with the 700H1. Even though I don't own an AC, I have ridden with several guys who do have the 650v2 and one with the 650H1 and they are very good quads. Just glad to see it starting to happen. I do wonder why they made the 700 diesel along with the 700H1? I would have thought that they would have made an 800cc to 1000cc diesel for strictly utility purposes. But again, I am glad to see them doing this.

I am wondering why AC is keeping the 400 when they now build their own 366cc motor? The 400 motor is a 376cc suzuki motor, which is only 10cc's more than their new 366cc motor.

Also, isn't the suzuki 700 motor a 695cc EFI single? Did AC take the suzuki 695cc EFI motor and put a hemispherical cylinder inside or is it totally AC's motor and just so happened to come out the exact same 695cc size? What do you think?

First off, I think AC kept the "400" because their new 366 is a low end with not many features. No diff lock, for example. And it is in a smaller frame. I thought they would have discontinued the 400 and 500 and used Suzuki's 450EFI.

From what I gathered, their new 700 H1 engine is just the regular 650 H1 engine bored out a bit. It has nothing to do with the Suzuki 700.

I believe that is probably the 650H1 borred out too, but I was just wondering. It would be nice to ride this quad.

Whats the maximum CC for an atv to be considered an atv? isnt it 800, thats why can-am made it DEAD ON 800 for their outty

188ft/lbs torque is impossible on a 950, unless it is turbocharged and NOS and alcohol running extremely high compression- that would probly amount to about 200horsepower unless it made peak power at 2000 or something RPM

EVEN A HAYABUSA DOESNT MAKE THAT KIND OF POWER IT MAKES ONLY 175HP, AND 2000CC KAWASAKI ROAD BIKES DONT MAKE THAT MUCH TORQUE. Chances are, it has only 88ft/lbs of torque.... which is still really good

congrats arctic cat on your new....atv? it shouldnt be considered an atv since atvs are under 800cc, well they used to a few years ago.... it makes me sad that can-am has gotten destroyed in the power department just because AC made a 950, can-am should put their SPYDER engine into their outty and turbo it and make it 14:1 compression, im sure that would smoke the 950
