K&N filters for Cat's
 

Hey... I bought a K&N filter for my 06' 400 from K&N. On their site it is listed as
an AC-4096-1. Guess what...that ain't it!!!!

I get this conical shaped filter with a 2" round fitting. I don't know how they expect us to put a round peg in a rectangular hole????

Well, I call K&N in Californial and they rep on the phone can actually look up the filters for just about anything. I mean he can draw up a picture of almost any filter out there. He pulls up the Arctic Cat and says " Wow, that's not going to fit".

So he try's different years...References 500's also. NADA....

So it's on it's way back. I asked him if they could by the Arctic Cat filter, trace it, and build one that fit's our airbox...

We'll see....so just so you all know, there is no filter that will fit the rectangular box that the ATV has...........

Thanks for that tidbit! I have the same machine and was seriously contemplating getting this filter. So, if I understand you correctly, there is no K&N filter that will work at the present time for our machine?

How sad is that...K&N doesn't even know what filters they have.
