I have been looking at full exhaust system today, and the range from increase of 5% to 17%, but my question is...what is the stock horsepower on an 04 DVX400. I can not seem to find it. Thanks

its about 27 HP, depending on what dyno its run on.
the stock pipe with a different end cap should get you to 30hp with proper jeting and no air box lid . slip-on's dont do a whole lot better than a stock pipe.
a full pipe system is the onlyway to go ,really comes in to its own if you do all the other things that go along with it ,proper jetting ,no air box ,400ex air boot . the air boot alown jumped me 2hp

Thanks, I am going to be ordering a yoshi rs3 full this week. I have a K&n pre-filter lid already. I plan on picking up a new filter and pre-wrap and run without the lid and see what that does. What do you suggest for jetting. I was looking at the Dial A Jet system. We mostly ride at the dunes, but will ride in the mountains also. Also, will a CDI help with horsepower?

CDI will help but i'd just get the full exhaust for now. Get a differnet airbox lid that has the screen in it so it acts like having no lid but keeps some of the crud out. Yoshimira should give a jetting RECOMMENDATION, so dont just put in what they say and call it a day. With the lid off or with differnet airbox lid (like the one i was talking about) you should be somewhere in the range of 150-160 main, 3rd clip on needle and 2.5 turns out on fuel screw. Not sure if you will have to change the pilot jet or not, some yoshi's say you have to...
