AC 400 float leaking

Default AC 400 float leaking

;[img]i/expressions/beer.gif[/img]I have an 04 AC 400 with a leaking float(drain), I have taken the bowl apart and checked the float it seems to be moving freely and have replaced the float valve. ITS STILL LEAKING!! Any words of wisdom??

any luck with this problem. My buddies 400 has fuel in the oil issues

Default AC 400 float leaking

You might try checking to make sure there is no gunk clogging any of the passages in the float bowl. I usually spray every hole I can find with carb cleaner when mine leaks as you describe. Then blow air through it with the compressor. (watch you eyes if you this so you don't get stuff splattered inthem) I have even found one of the vent tubes coming off the carb partially plugged and I think when it is plugged it allows the fuel to keep flowing.
