Has anyone put on 26" Titan 589's on their Cat without a lift? Do they rub?

Unless you stiffen up the suspension they will rub on large jumbs.

Boner how big is a large jump? Also will the bike handle 300# cargo on slow technical riding without rubbing with 26" Titans? Thanks for the help.

I ride a Rancher and put on the 26x9x12 up front and 26x12x12 rear. I have no problem with rubbing, either with turning or with riding. I don't do jumping. I feel it will do major damage to a utility quad...by that I mean that when airborne the wheels are turning fast (no friction on them) and then when you land they take quite a shock to the drivetrain. I may be wrong and some of you riders more technically inclined jump in here if I am. I think the differentials will take a huge shock and will tear out gears after alot of jumping.
Don't get me wrong, I think jumping is fun. But thats not what I bought MY quad for.
So, I think you will not have any problem with the 26" Titans on your quad.

I have 26" Mud Sharks on mine 9's in front 12" on back there not as tall the 589s but I brought a cow elk hole on the back rack last season with no problem on petty rugged two track just put more air in the tires and go...the muffler rubs a little when the tires up on that side and I've knocked a few rivets loose on lots of air but the fronts don't touch at all

hey twig,
How do you like the mudsharks? How much did your elk weigh and was it already field dressed?

Well a large jump on a 650 lb 4wd is 4foot or more to me. I think they would rub on technical riding with that much weight. That is ALOT of weight for the cat. I would add the spring spacers just for that amount of weight. Even if you don't get the tires, the suspension is way too soft for 300 lbs on the rear rack.

They are/were 10.5" wide and did hit the rear mud flaps when bottoming out both rear shocks with a SUPER heavy load or jumping.
