The next thing you know you will have a huge vertical exhaust stack and start "rolling coal" while you are plowing. Then comes the sled pulls and diesel drag racing.

David, there is a guy on arctic chat forums (Whitbread) who turboed his and posted a couple videos of him at the sled pulls. Didn't look like power was an issue, he pulled the sled almost off the track! He runs 12-14 psi boost only and stock injector turned to the max, timing advanced 5 degrees. Actually I run a 5 degree timing advance key on my AC 500 , have to run premium gas.

Hello Brutus, and you kinda look like a Bluto from Popeye. Big, tough ATV.

For a work'in utility, the diesel with torque makes a lot of sense. I hope the engineers also addressed the transmission and driveline to handle the low speed torque. Probably did. And they probably completed a 1000 hour accelerated reliability test at the expect duty cycle.

Having looked over the parts manual, seems like every thing is bigger on the diesel. 1 nice feature is a 40 amp alternator! My complaint with my gas 500 is that after 2 hours plowing with head lights/ tail light on, grip/thumb warmers on max, engine cooling fan running and the winch going my headlights start to flutter (voltage low). The gas model's stator has a hard job keeping up. PITA. If I don't like it, I might export to Europe, as it only has 400 miles and I'm pretty close to the Eimskip terminal. The suggested overhaul for the motor is: 10,000 hours!

One of the reasons I got the Outlander Max XTP was for the 65 watt output. Have never had issues even with everything turned on.

Brutus looks great. Those look like original tires. Should do everything you want it to do. Congratulations on the purchase!

Looks good. I didn't realize it was a 2 up machine, bonus there if you ever did want one.

Greg, yes I use my 500 with the rear box as a 2 up to take the wife, now with the much longer W/B it will be way safer. AC has a 2up seat that I'll have to get and probably get a big tool box for the front, as well as a chain saw mount and some gun mounts, probably a windshield. Hoping the Mudzillas fit. Getting antsy, haha

Looks like there is some extra room for bigger tires but I'm guessing the 30's will be a tight fit or will rub.
