Default 2001 Arctic Cat Shock Adjustment

I have a 2001 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 auto and the front shocks seem super soft. Anytime I hit a bump, the tire will push up and rub on the fenders. I can't see any adjustment on the springs where a spanner wrench would hook. Are these even adjustable?? or an I gonna have to buy new?

That's odd, my 01 AC 500 was stiff as a 1 ton truck. See if they have notched adjusters, all of my Cats do. If they do, you need a tool to turn them, spray with WD40 or PB Blaster a day ahead, as they will be stuck, chances are. Otherwise, check eBay for used ones. Mine had 9,000 miles when I sold the bike, lots of plowing snow with 30" tires. BTW, you might want to look for wheel spacers too, they handled much better with 45 mm spacers on front and 90 mm on back.

also if they do have adjusters you need to remove the weight from the shock before adjusting or you will just brake the tabs off
