How much oil required for 1999 arctic cat 500 atv?

Make sure you use a wet clutch approved oil. Shell Rotella T6 is a good one. They sell it in 4 qt jugs.

+1.. Kinda biased on Rotella myself as it is good oil that's cheaper than most synthetics.

OPT, I did some comparative testing comparing T6 to Mobil 1 Euro formula and Maxxima 10w40 motorcycle oil that my mechanic swears by. Sent 500 mile samples to Blackstone Labs. Wear metals in the T6 were 50% or less of the M1 and about 20% of the Maxxima mineral oil! I didn't expect that much difference! Tested in AC 500 (Suzuki) with high miles.
