I want to buy a 500i and would like to know what is the top speed for the manual and the automatic.Any info would be appreciated.Thanks

 

One new 500i owner here recorded that he saw 53 MPH on his spedo. I own a 375 AC 4x4 Auto and hit on the 52-53 range on level ground, full throttle. I'm pretty sure that the 375 auto and the 500i auto have the smae transmissions.

saw an INDICATED (not sure how accurate the speedo is) 50-53mph on a long stretch of gravel road

 

and I'm pretty sure it would have kept pulling a bit more but my common sense got the best of me and decided I shouldnt keep on the throttle seing as how the bike was so new

 

What a waste of money. My cousin's 454 will do 59 easily!!! no.. Just joking. Looks like they have got the speedometers a little more accurate on the newer AC's. With stock tires, I could sit there at 59 on the speedometer, but the GPS reading of 52 would put me in my place real quick. This looks like one of the best built bikes I've ever seen. Thoroughly rugged, with a good design. I like the way that AC's are proportional front to back, and I always loved the large rack space and thick tubing. That 500i rear end picture with the beer cans is massive. My Grizzly doesn't touch that with 27" Claws. AC nailed the clearance thing on the head.
