Rode the 500i this weekend.

Well I got an extended ride on a new 500i on Sunday. I went riding with my dealer and he brought a new red 500i with ITP black Magnum wheels and 27" Gators to ride. Later in the day he had me try it out. He must of had the spring adjusters set real high, because it seemed real stiff. I know he had 7psi in the tires I run mine at 4psi. But I could feel every little bump and rock allmost like a Kodiak and Rubicon that I had ridden. There was hardly any body sway though. But all in all I think I like the ride of my ACT better. I will ride it again and let some of the air out of the tires to soften it up some. I know this will help. I can run down the trail and run over fist size and slightly larger rocks and not even feel them on mine.
Like I said though I will ride it again if he doesn't sell it before we go to Windrock. I will set it up for my tastes and see how it does. I like the ride hight though, that thing is up there. 14.75" all the way through. I have some pictures in my pics, if you would like to see it they are under Mar 17

wow 14.75" that is talllll.. As for feeling all the little bumps, I think the tires on my cat are a bit over inflated as well because i can feel all the small stuff. It didn't bother me any, but now that you mentioned it it just reminded me. My cat is set on its softest setting on the shocks and it is still pretty stiff compared to other quads. I can jump on the back rack and the quad squats maybe half an inch.. barely noticable (I weigh 115). But I can push the rear of a Kodiak right down just by pushing and not using all my weight. I think the AC set up is much better!
