I was wondering if the front diff on a 375 4X4 is limited slip. I climbed a creek bank with all four wheels planted on the ground and all four pulled me up the bank. Then I went to another creek bank and the left front wheel was off the ground a few inches and it would just spin in the air. Then I gunned it and the left front wheel came in contact with the ground a little and the right front acted like it wanted to pull too.

Yes it is a torque sincing limited slip. I have had the same thing happen a couple of times. If both front tires have contact with the ground, they will both pull, but if the left one is off of the ground then it will just spin and never cause the right one to kick. Has anyone else had this experience?

I always had trouble with our AC 300 4X4. Every time you would try to climb something steep or even in mud on flat ground the power would ALWAYS go to the tire with the least traction. I would stand over the front wheels and try the brake trick and it would usually only get the none spinning wheel to jerk a little and that was it. As soon as you would let go of the brake the other tire would start spinng a hundred-miles-an-hour and not take you any where. This 375 looks a lot better in that department, I have yet to really get in some bad conditions though, but it seems better.

I think that it is better. The only prob I have had is when the left front tire has no traction, it does not seem to want to transfer to the right, but if it has traction and is spinning then the right one will spin also.!

The 300's weight distribution is the greatest either. The engine/transmission are located about 10 inches back in the chassis than probably any other atv other than the suzuki with the same engine/transmission.

I'll take the Cat front diff over any other limited slip. Yes, I've had the same trouble although it happens much less than I would have excepted. Hopefully a locking front diff is in the works...

I would like to see AC come out with a lock diff in their new models. One that you could push a lever or switch to engage. So you would have 2WD/4WD/ and Locked front 4WD!

I agree that we should be able to lock the front diff. I thought the front diff was limited slip. But if by chance one of the front tires does get in the air, it will just spin. I don't know if it still needs to be broken in or what. I only have 49 miles on it.

Does any one else have a 375? I was just wondering if it will pick up in speed as it is broken in. I currently max out at 49 MPH.

Mine has picked up speed and I have heard fro numerous people that as they break in the 375s will get faster!
