I don't know enough about the frame geometry of Hondas 3 wheeler's but why is the front axle mounted behind the front shocks as opposed to leading them? Chet |

When I look at the picture, the wheel base would be smaller and the steering I would think would be quicker. The reason I asked in the early seventies on my Kawasaki 72- 250 enduro dirtbike I moved it forward because it had two adjustments and the bike handled better in the forward position for how I rode it.

some guy on ebay had his front forks switched around to put axle forward. said it handles better. i'm thinking about trying it.

All the old Honda ATC race Trike's Pic's i have seen or remember never changed it. Kawi tecate was mounted in the front but the angle of the shock's may have been different.
Maybe for hi speed like desert racing. If you try it let me know how it works. |
