OEM graphics for an '86 250r ???

I just bought my first 3-wheeler (sold the Banshee). I pulled off the original owner's "OMF", "I can't drive 55", and various other stickers. I'd now like to make this bike look original.

Anyone got a pic of an original '86 250r? Also, where can I buy those graphics? Does Honda still make them?

Thanks!

im pretty sure someone might have them. im not sure if theyre OE but ive seen some close replicas (tank scoop stickers). the rear fender and front fender stickers im not sure.

Honda does make the stock plastics still, and they are at a healthy price. they do not however make the tanks in red anymore which is the word, they make them in black. anyone who tells you Maier as just as good as OE, is on crack...or a tight budget. good luck.

In my opinion, the best looking graphics for the '85-'86 250Rs are the shroud graphics that came stock on the 1989 CR250R dirtbike.

If you haven't seen them, picture the cool looking 500R decals that guys put on the ATC500R conversion trikes, except with a 250R logo instaed. Great looking and fit perfectly on the ATC shrouds. The conversion guys use 1989 CR500R decals.

You can still get them from your Honda dealer, but the OEM decals that came on the ATC are discontinued.

I keep a set of these that I am referring to on hand at all times just in case Honda ever decides to discontinue them as well....lol

If you want a better look at them, I will scan one and email the pic of it to you.

Try Bikebandit.com and click on the OEMparts icon on the top of the page. It's in orange. They have oem stickers. They are expensive but beggers cant be choosers. I know because I am currently getting ready to restore my 85 atc250R and have been doing alot of research collecting leads on oem parts. Parts are getting hard to come by so get em' while you can. Ebay is another decent source but you'll have to wait to find what you want.

P.S. as to HA2 Honda has dicontinued all plastics except for the radiator shrouds!
