Trike won't start, ran fine last night

I had my trike stored for a month or so, but started it about 2 weeks ago. Then i took it out last night and after about 15-20 pulls it started up. I ran the motor for about an hours or so and then cleaned it up. Put it away in my garage for the night. Today i took it out and pulled it probably 50 times or more, would not start. The spark plug was wet as hell with gas and blacker than black. I cleaned it off and tryed pulling again nothing. Cleaned it out again, tryed pulling again nothing again. It was making me mad so i figured i put it away before i break something. As of now i have not tryed since then but think that i'm going to pick up a new plug tomarrow or something. There is a little gas in it but it is enough to make it start also it's on Reserve. I think that i'll get the new plug and put some gas in and see what happens. What do you think is the problem.

See if your gas knob is on first. Then, Check the carb out, cause sitting wont do it any good. Then if all else fails, sell it, and buy a Raptor.

Check for spark. the wire or boot may have been wet, and that shorted the spark, but if its dry now, it should have spark. Pull the plug and reattach the wire, hold it against the motor and pull it over...if you have spark, youll see it.
If you have spark and its still hard to start, check the valve clearance.
the new plug is a good idea.

Ok i just got back from outside and took off my gas tank and clean and blew out all the lines connecting to the carb, cleaned the plug again. I dont have any gas so i got to go get some soon. I put it all back together and after about 15 pulls she backfired like hell yes i said, then a few more pulls and she started, she ran for a few minutes and then died. I know she starts but now i just need some gas. She almost bone dry. That's my problem.
