Well it ran sunday, havent touched it since, today wont even spark....new plug, kill switch fine. What could go bad like that sitting there.??

Any ideas.

very possible that your cdi could have finally went south. I have had situations like that. Bike that run and then just dont start, then they might start again. Might also check the pulse generator and see if it has anything to do with it. I dotn have the specs as to what the pulse generator is supposed to OHM out at but I am sure that someone on here knows.... Could also be the coil, If you still have the 84 200ES, try the coil off of it. I show that the CDI unit is no the same and I do not know about the pulse genny. Hope that helps some

 

check stator to friend had his dirt bike rode it put it away for the night next day went out wouldnt spark thouht it was cdi, coil, wasnt turned out it was the stator, so just thought i could help you out a little bit
