the 185s engine is a 180cc and 200x is a 192cc but the later year of 200x had a 200cc engine.

No the rear sprocket will not work from a 200x............anytime you ask questions about a 20 +year old trike ...you should include the year.......some stuff changed on certain models.

OK, the cams are exactly the same, if you want a better cam, go with a xr200 or xr200r cam, or even an xl200/xl185 cam which is even better. As far as the two engines (200x and 185s) being the same, just the top ends, the 200x has a manual clutch and kick start, and diff. gearing, 185 has auto clutch and pull start. anything from the top end is interchangable. The carbs are also different, 200x is bigger, but if you want to go even bigger, again go with a xr200 carb (you'll have to get a new manifold though)

Wrong.. the stock cams are different......the 185s 1.2354/1.2196 and the 200x is 1.2802/1.2678 lobe height

The part numbers on both are 14101-958-000.
Go to service honda's web site, and they have complete parts diagrams for every honda sold in the US since 1959

not my fault there site is wrong...........Original specs on the cams........all the 185, and 200's had the same cam.....and the 200x got a "sport" cam...It is a cheap way to get a little boost on all the 185/200's is to get a used 200x cam....
