My ATC 200 will not start. It has spark and the engine turns but for some reason it will not start. Does anyone know any possible solutions to check for. I put a new timing chain on it and was wondering if that needs adjustment or if the problem is somewhere else. The carb seems to leak excessive gas out of the excess tube I may have flooded not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

 

your problem might be that the timing is off check it sense u put a new chain in also if gas is leaking out that means the carb is overflowing, needle valve might be stuck. hope this helps?

 

Was it running before you changed the timing chain? If so then definatly check you timing and make sure that it is right. As for the carb, sounds like your float is sticking open. Pull the carb off and give it a good cleaning and see if that helps.

 

Welcome to the forum Michael4788, I would take the carb apart and clean it and check to see if you installed the cam chain right. Its fairly easy to be 180 degrees out of rotation.
