125m new clutch won't disengage

I put new friction plates and springs in and now when I put it in gear it stalls the motor like the clutch is locked up.I took it back apart put stock springs back in (because they seemed to be alot bigger)and put it back together the way the clymer manual shows and the same thing happens.Does anyone have any idea what I may have done wrong?

125m new clutch won't disengage

I got it.I tore it apart again this time I just poured oil all over the discs as I put them in the clutch basket.Seems to be working fine now.
