i got a 84 200 bigred shaft drive that was burning up plugs i changed the primary coil so that should fix that but now the bike starts but will not go into gear

Does it make any noise when you try to put it into gear? Did you put it back together right when you pulled the stator cover and put the new coil on? I'm assuming you had to pull the subtranny to get to the primary stator coil? I would start there....but I'm no expert on those fancy bikes w/reverse.

it will shift into gear but will not engade the rear end it is like it is still in netural need help

Have you ever seen it ridden? Maybe the rear differential is stripped...that seems to be pretty common on the shaft driven atc's

i had the same problem the axle.take it off the splins maybe stripped. if so good luck i still cant find one under $250 bucks.f@#k ebay payed for one and it never came lost $125us.
