Default 1984 Honda 250r Axle???

I am currently restoring my atc, and I am trying to get the axle off of the swingarm. I just got the locking nuts off and the mounting bracket for the disc brake is giving me trouble. How do I get that off?? I have a book but mentions nothing about it. Looks like it is threaded on. I am in need of some advice b/c I just need to paint the swingarm and I am done. My motor will be here in about 3 days. THANKS

Are you taking about the "hub" that the rotor bolts too?? If so then it is on with splines, if it is stuck you will need to beat the axle out. I use a strong 4X4 on the axle tip and a 8# sledge
