1980'ish model Honda Big Red
 

Hey all, I need some help. I have a MINT condition Honda Big Red and the other day I took it for a stroll around town I stopped it and talked to a friend. And when I went to put it in neutral it would not go there. It is stuck in gear and the gear shifter is not stuck or stripped or anything. It goes up and down but the gears will not budge. I know you have to rock them back and forth, but it is not budging. My worry is that it could be something inside the gears that is broken. Any of you have the same problem??? Please Help, ANY INPUT IS ACCEPTED!!!

Hmmm can't say that ive ever experienced that. does it have the high\low\reverse switch? if so that possibly could be a culprit try wiggling or shifting ranges then see if you can nuetral it. if that doesn't work it sounds to me like a bent shift fork. hope this helps.
