I have this old ATC I got sick of sitting around partially taken apart not running, so I rebuilt the carb and replaced the spark plug. I put the carb back in and it fired right up, even in the cold weather. Problem is I cant get it to idle down, it only runs near WOT... the choke doesn't even cut it back. I played with the adjustment screws on the side and bottom of carb and am quite certain the throttle is not stuck open. Is there a governor somewhere thats stuck?

hey. i had the same problem with my 200m and i found out it was the needle jet that goes in the center of the carb that attaches to the trottle cable. if that is worn out then that could be why. you said you rebuilt the carb. did you buy a kit for it? try moving the needle up a notch so it runs alittle leaner. if that doesnt work the only other thing i can think of is the trottle is sticken in the carb.
