I have a 81 250r trike and I blew out 2nd gear! I rounded out two gears. One gear I can get from my dealer but the other one is discontinued. I was just owndering if anyone could help me with finding a gear. Its the Second gear main shaft. If you have a clymer manual its number 17 on page 105 the part number is 23421-430-00 thanks a bunch!

dude i had a 85 250r and i blew 3rd gear and the best easyist way to fix it was to buy a whole nother bottom end! it may cost a bit more but in the long run its worth it! that bike should last a long time. hope u take my advice dude. any other questions just ask

You may have already done this but try Ebay.com. I have found a few hard to get pieces for my 85r from there.

Hey dude. Try a dirt wheels magazine. In the back of every issue there are places that sell used parts for older ATC's. There's even one site that sells only 250r parts. Used and new.
I'm sure they'll have what you need, or should know where to send you if you don't. Good luck!!

Hey I took your advice and I bought a whole bottom end for 75$
