Default 86 250sx carb jet removal

I'm rebuilding my carb on an 86 250sx. After looking at the service manual I'm not sure if the carb is from an 85 or 86, is there a way to tell? Are there different number of jets with each year? My carb kit (K&L 18-2553) doesn't have all the jets that are present in the carb. Is this normal? Also, the primary jet does not want to loosen, does anyone have suggestions on how to remove it. It feels like it is going to break if I apply anymore pressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes they DO break so be careful Penetrating oil for days, some torch heat LIGTly and then I dropped mine in boiling water since 212 degrees is less that what they run at. Now heres my FAVorite trick. Get some of that freezie wart remover and cool the jet when the carb is warm. Works great on press in jets the 85 has a non screw in jet and the 86 has a rubber plug where that one was and a screw in on the side pf that same internal passage
