If the plug's gas fouled probably needs a carb kit. If it's oily could be oil bypassing rings or valve guides.http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-1981-1982-ATC200-Carburetor-Repair-Kit-ATC-200-Carb-Kit-/271555005865?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f39f08da9&vxp=mtr

it sat for 5-6 years before I got it and it ran great before it sat. Would that make a difference

Just a little bit.. :) Sitting that long hopefully if the carb isn't junk/corroded out,the rebuild kit should fix it or at least help.If it still smokes at least you have a clean carb. I'd check the valve clearance(around .003 intake and exhaust if I remember correctly) and change oil if you haven't done so. Oil may be contaminated with gas after 5-6 years which can cause smoking also.

Thanks how would I check the valve clearence. I think the new coil is going to help because my old wire boot was kinda hit and miss so it wasn't a good connection and it might not of got a complete spark when it fired

Pull the spark plug first.Best I can remember on these old machines is to pull the plug on top of the stator cover, pull the two 17 or 19mm valve cover caps, then slowly pull the recoil until you see the intake rocker arm close then start to rise. Look at the hole in the stator cover until the TDC mark on the flywheel lines up with mark on engine case. Then check the valve clearance. .003 feeler gauge should slide in with a small amount of drag. If either or both valves are tight, loosen the rocker arm adjuster lock nut and turn the adjuster to where the feeler gauge slides between the the adjuster pad and valve stem, then tighten the lock nut. Feeler gauge should have a slight drag. May take a couple tries if this is your first time.

I fixed that problem now I'm trying to free the rear brake and change the rear Axel Bearings and I don't know how to remove the axel
