Looking for feedback from people that have run 22" rear sport, flat profile tires on 85/86 ATC250Rs or Yamaha or Kawasaki race trikes. Feedback from actual riding experience on this machine is desired, not opinion. All I have ever run are the stock 20" size. I know going larger will affect handling and stability, but I wanted to know if the gained ground clearance is worth the trade off. Thanks.

 

I had a Honda 250r atc w/ a 300 kit in it. it had new 22" aftermarket tires on it, can`t remember the name at the moment. they took a lot of side slip out of it, was very dangerous for a new rider .

 

That is what I was afraid of. The change would be more drastic on a 3-wheeler than on a quad. Looks I will be sticking with 20s. How did you like that 300 kit? Thanks.
