ATC 110 Running Problem
Bought a 1981 ATC110 pretty cheap for a project. It ran well when I got it but smoked up a lot and would eventually die, spark plugs oiled up.
I have since rebuilt the top end with all new seals, cleaned the carb, air filter , changed the plug and installed an in-line fuel filter.
It runs and does idle alright but will sometimes rev itself up a bit in idle. When throttled from idle it will start smooth but then begin to pop and splutter and lose power. It runs worse with choke on which makes me think it is running rich. However I’ve put the carb needle on the top slot and set the mix to factory but it is no good.
Any ideas on what this could be?
Ive put the timing back together as factory so don’t think that would be it?
