Down By the River

Headed West: Down By The River

Hope you enjoy!

That's some nice looking scenery. There's nothing like it anywhere I ride.

Another great narrative. Thanks for sharing.

Great pictures and great story. I hope to explore Arizona someday. I'm going to drive through and look around from the car in April.

Thanks everyone!

OOOh. I can't wait to ride out West. It looks so different and so much nicer than riding in the east. It's so narrow and rocky here.

Don't forget muddy, root strewn, and at times snow covered. :D

I actually consider snow covered to be a great thing. Snow riding (and more specifically riding on ice) is just about as much fun as you can have on wheels.

DGNAZ 03-06-2016 05:50 PM

Yeah...there's no snow in AZ...

smitty2 03-06-2016 05:54 PM

Fair point...I've only ever been to Phoenix. Being from Pennsylvania I tend to think of Arizona as one giant desert.

user493 03-06-2016 10:13 PM

That looks like more snow than I've seen in this part of Michigan in years.

LOL...i did too...until i moved here. The area around Flagstaff gets lots of snow at 7000"+ elevations. Several areas do, actually. This was shot about 8 miles S-E of Williams, AZ.

You title caught my eye.
Worked out of Tempe AZ for 4 years, I haul cars.
Been back on the east coast for a while, just loaded a load yesterday leaving out Monday for Calif.
I miss the sights, and I knew it had to be some great places to ride out there.
Enjoyed the photos and your write up.
