Paiute ATV Trail Map Information

Thinking about a trip to the Paiute? Maps are a good place to start. This short video covers why you might want the National Forest Maps, the Nat Geo Map, and the Avenza maps.

Good tips. We used both the National Forest maps and the Nat Geo map. Another good resource is the Paiute/Gooseberry OHV Trail Map book that combines the two, but with a National Forest map look.

Good tip on that. Never seen that one before. In 2018, we're including the Panguitch in out loop. I have a map, but wondering if anyone has maps they would recommend? Links? Thanks!

National Geographic maps, 705 and 714 cover the Paunsaugunt Plateau area which is between Circleville (at the southernmost part of the Paiute) to the Bryce area. Nat Geo map 702 covers the trails to the west of Panguitch. Try a search on Panguitch chamber of commerce. Ruby's Inn also has some maps of the Fremont Trail that goes between Bryce and the Paiute. https://www.rubysinn.com/atv-trails-maps/ There are maps of the trails west of Bryce that are said to be very scenic. We went to go down there last fall but a massive storm just south of Circleville made us turn back. Hope to try again next fall.

Thanks for the heads up on the Ruby Inn. I ended up ordering the 707 to compare with the maps I already have. I'm not confident we're going to make it past Casto Canyon on our loop because it's nearly 600 miles, and we have 5 days. Will be an adventure for sure.

Well, I found an error in the information on the video. I listed the Travel Map as the MVUM. This correction has been added in the description of the video.
