Default Seeing any YFZ's MXing???

Just wondering if anyone is seeing many YFZ's at their local MX tracks and if so how are they doing compared to the other 400's and the R's?

Ya it all most seems like more show up each race. As for doing better or worse it depends on rider skill. I have seen the 450 stomp over every thing, and I have seen it come in dead last.

Haven't raced one on the MX track yet but I was amazed at how well they did at the 500' grass drags last weekend. With a less torquey motor I thought they would be hard to get a good jump out of the hole with, but those things get up and GO. 350lbs probably helps too, plus they had brand new stock tires. Normally my 400EX can get a good jump on 250Rs or Banshees off the line (they pass me within 200-400 feet though depending on their starts) and I was expecting the 450s to have traction issues as well, but they really jump off the line and the banshees / Rs needed a very good start to beat them in 500', where the 450s (there were 4 of them racing) all seemed to get very consistant fast runs. And these were stock! Very impressive.

I have some video stills I will put up on my site this week from the races, and probably a video later.

There's a pic of one on My Page racing MX at a local arena cross. It is behind me only because the rider wasn't quite as good, the quad is fast as hell.
