I am thinking of buying some shocks and was wondering what type of shocks do the pro's use.
|
i have tcs front and works ultra croos real. pro's use those two plus axis and PEP. i would very much recommend TCS
|
yea custon axis and pep

There is a weld in kit that converts the 300ex shock mounts into 250r spec. if you did that you could use what ever brand of shocks you want. I use PEP ZPS shocks all the way around on my 88 250r. If you use custom axis you would have to go with a roll design front end because of the shock mount position. I would reccomend TCS front shocks for stock a-arms. I used them in hare scrambles and they worked really nice.

You do not have to use a Roll Design front end to use Axis shocks. You can get them that will bolt directly on to a 250R stock chassis.

Depends.
dont worry on the brand of shock. talk to the company that will build and service the shocks for you. all the good companies should set the shocks up to fit your needs. They should ask you a lot of questions and give you a time frame of when you can expect delevery. they should also offer to give a limited warrenty on the set up in case it dosent work well for you at first. |
If you want them before you die, call TCS. Todd's the best guy you'll ever talk to in this business
